When you feel stumped about life, what do you do?
I’m stumped today and I don’t know what’s next. The future has changed and I feel like someone has cut my feet out from under me. Do you know what I mean? One day you are going along on a path, with a plan all in place, and the next moment, someone messes everything up.
Why do these things happen? Was it the wrong path and I didn’t know it? Had I followed the wrong map?
Who was directing this whole trip? I thought God was!
Wait and see, has been the only choice this week since our buyer has changed his mind about buying our house. Boxes are packed and stacked, waiting for the moving truck. Is our new home going to be there, waiting for only us, or will the owner sell it to someone else? Is there a new buyer who has been waiting to buy our house this month?
These are the questions that make us crazy every day.
It’s hard to see your dream evaporate or start to fade away. Was it our imagination?
We believed it was our house, on that day that we prayed so hard for it, and it was revealed at just the moment we asked. Only God could do that!
It was as if we had put in a wish list and “Santa” had read our list and given us everything, even down to the right kitchen sink. Literally!
Did God tease or trick us? This is my question today.
Maybe you’ve asked this same question…Does God really care about me and my kitchen sink?
DO YOU, GOD?
Does God not want me to move? Is He trying to stop something that’s not in His will? Am I supposed to learn something? Do I trust Him?
How Do I Know What He Wants For Me?
Maybe you never ask God to direct your life. I always have and don’t know how else to live in this crazy world. Trusting that God has always been with me in everything is the only way I survive.
This little tree is believing he can sprout and grow even though it looks like a foolish decision. He isn’t letting his circumstances hold him back from his belief. He looks up to the sun and keeps his eyes on the sky, not looking at the stump that has died. He will get nutrients from the decaying stump as it becomes fertile soil. Faith and patience!!!!
Hebrews 6:11-12 “We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what happens as been promised.” (NIV)
My only choice is Faith And Patience.
If you don’t know how to do this, I am learning it daily. Come alongside as we learn it together.
